Voices from the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs & Freedom

August 28, 2013 will mark the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs & Freedom. The MSC Woodson Black Awareness Committee would like to mark this momentous occasion with a week of programming and events.

First day of fall semester classes.

The annual MSC Poster Sale offers a wide range of full color and black and white posters with themes ranging from the visual arts, sports, and cinema, to music and nature. The poster sale is held during the first week of school, just in time to help students decorate their new dorm and apartment walls. MSC Visual Arts Committee, MSC Town Hall, and MSC Aggie Cinema will be selling posters from 8am until 5pm every day of the sale.

George Washington's personal copy of the Laws of the United States, First Session 1789, also known as the Acts of Congress, will be on display at Bush Library & Museum's Ansary Gallery of American History from August 26-Sept. 9.

Ongoing Events

The George R. R. Martin exhibit, lecture, and related events will showcase objects, editions, and manuscripts from Martin's prolific writing career.

Regular Transit service operates from approximately 7 am to midnight Monday through Friday. Weekend Service runs off-campus routes approximately 9am to 5pm on weekends (off-campus routes only).
