You have seen the pics I have posted here of starving children in Sudan that I took when I was there with Reverend Franklin Graham and Samaritan?s Purse.? They are starving because of the cruelty of their President ? they are hiding from him.? He has destroyed their crops, burned their villages. ? President Bashir enjoys their suffering and death.? Families are hiding in caves without food or water in 110 degree weather while their President Bashir bombs them and sends armies in to kill, rape etc. of these innocent civilians.?
Scroll back to this weekend and see the pictures ? President Bashir is all evil.?
So now what?? Nigeria is ?wining and dining him? (read below.)?
What can you do?? Call or email your Senators and Representatives.? You can also email the Nigerian Embassy in Washington, DC.? Tell them to arrest Bashir! We need to put pressure on Nigeria to arrest him.? Nigeria is a signatory to the ICC (International Criminal Court) where Bashir is under indictment for genocide, murder etc.? Help! Please help! ?
Nigeria Defends Hosting Sudan?s Bashir
by VOA News
Rights groups are demanding that Nigeria arrest visiting Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court for alleged war crimes.
?
The Sudanese leader arrived late Sunday in Nigeria?s capital, Abuja, to attend an African Union summit focused on AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.
?
Human Rights Watch and a local group, the Nigerian Coalition for the ICC, say Nigeria is obligated to arrest Mr. Bashir because of its membership in the international court and the crimes he is accused of committing against civilians in Darfur.
?
A Nigerian presidential spokesman has indicated that authorities will not arrest Bashir. The spokesman, Reuben Abati, said Bashir came at the invitation of the African Union ? which has supported Bashir?s refusal to surrender to the ICC or accept the court?s authority.
?
The French news agency AFP quotes Abati as saying ?Nigeria is not a position to determine who attends an AU event and who does not.?
?
A report by Sudan?s official news agency noted Bashir?s arrival in Nigeria, but made no mention of the ICC controversy.
?
The ICC has indicted Bashir on charges of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide in Sudan?s Darfur region. The court accuses him of orchestrating crimes including murder, rape and extermination against civilians
