KUF Halloween Stories Vol2 - Your stories needed.

Yes, it's a little early, but ...

Last year, we produced our very own short, free Halloween eBook here on KUF with stories contributed by some of our authors and members. The stories were very good, but as the idea was conceived very late, there was not enough time for everyone to participate.

This year, I am jumping the gun and giving everyone advance notice so that you all have plenty of time if you wish to contribute a short story.

What's in it for you as an Author ?

• This year, I plan on running a large KUF homepage feature for the whole of November to promote the book and also homepage advertising for the whole month for every author whose story is used in the book.
• As well as free KUF homepage advertising, you will also get credits and a page for profile or plugging at the end of the book.
• And don't forget, the KUF halloween will be free to download and a good chance for authors to introduce new readers to their work, a very important PR exercise.
  

What are we looking for ?

• We are looking for stories with a horror, supernatural or ghostly theme of around 2000 words (but it doesn't matter too much either way).
• For those of you are not horror writers (probably most), it doesn't need to be horror in the 'gory' or 'monsters' sense. Think along the lines of The Picture of Dorian Gray or perhaps even A Christmas Carol. A good mix of styles is just what we need.
• Stories do not have to be brand new ones - you can provide one of you existing or older works if you like.
• The only other thing, is please give them a good spell-check and proof-read.
  

I hope this whets your appetites and that we can get something great together for this year.

Also, please dont forget, you don't have to be a professional author to make a submission - anybody is welcome to submit - I even had a go myself last year and really enjoyed it.

I will post more details here over the coming weeks including details of how to send submissions etc, but for now get your thinking caps on
