Sony Will Lose Money On Each PS4 Unit Sold

The next generation video game consoles are about to arrive on store shelves this year. Both Microsoft and Sony are eagerly awaiting to make these video game consoles sells but recently it has been discovered that Sony will actually be losing money on each PlayStation 4 unit sold. Microsoft and Sony are competing for a spot in your entertainment stand. The biggest push Sony?s PlayStation 4 may have over the Microsoft Xbox One in terms of money is that the PS4 will actually run you $100 less than the Microsoft Xbox One. Though it seems that Sony will be losing $60 for each console they sell which can turn out to be a rather large loss after the holiday season is over with. Either way, it turns out that Sony has hopes to gain this money back in other means.

With the help of PlayStation Plus memberships, Sony may earn back the loss through this subscription service. There are two methods for PlayStation Plus right now for the service, users can pay $18 for a three month package deal or $50 for a full year. This service grants you access to different deals, online multiplayer for the PlayStation 4 and even a free video game downloads.
