MDSave Medical App Released for iPhone, iPad

Health e-commerce company MDSave has announced the launch of a free iOS app bearing its name, allowing patients to research, compare and purchase health services directly from local physicians at significant discounts.

Just like the web-based MDSave service, the free iPhone/iPad app enables consumers to research health conditions and services to determine what care type they require.

MDSave offers price transparency by comparing the costs of health services, and targets uninsured patients and those with high-deductible insurance plans.

According to Paul Ketchel, MDSave co-founder and chief executive officer, ?The MDSave mobile app uniquely combines the information patients need to learn about health conditions, services and pricing, whether at home, in the doctor?s office, or on-the-go.?

Ketchel says his company?s free iPhone app is the first to combine all of the charges a patient will normally incur into one simple and transparent bottom line.
