Investing In Deceit | Be Sure You're RIGHT, Then Go Ahead

?So these investments ? in things like education and research and health care ? they haven?t been made as some grand scheme to redistribute wealth from one group to another,? the president said today at Florida Atlantic University. ?This is not some socialist dream,? Obama added, as he called for tax increases on millionaires today to pay for those investments. ( Obama: I?m not trying to ?redistribute wealth?)

Democrats, like communists everywhere, excel at the willful perversion of language.? They have to, in order to sell their version of utopian fantasy to people who ought to know better.? If the Jackass Party was ever subjected to truth-in-labeling laws, every last one of ?em would have been forcibly retired and hauled off to the nearest glue factory years ago.? As nearly as can be determined, the practice of replacing the ever-odious word ?tax? with the acceptable ?investment? started with that lascivious leftist Bill Clinton, who also famously wanted us to believe that oral copulation was not really sex, as long as it wasn?t his daughter who was the copulee. Barack Obama, while not nearly as randy as his concupiscent Democratic predecessor, is even more duplicitous.? As William L. Gensert writes in Obama As Farce,

The president has governed as a hyper-partisan, race-baiting, barely present tyrant with absolutely no leadership skills and little regard for the constitution.? His daily ululations paint anyone who dares to disagree as evil and un-American.? People are either pro-Barack or an enemy of the nation ? there is no in-between.

It is the intangible aspects of the presidency where Barack Obama is most adept: entertaining, vacationing, and golf.? The parties are legendary and extravagant.? Bringing the NBA to the White House, or the NFL or Motown or Broadway ? when he feels like it, the party comes to him.? The vacations are even more extravagant, and the golf?everyone knows about the golf.? He may not be good, but at least he puts in the time.

America has to pay for it all, but this is an opportunity to see the true Barack Obama, surrounded by minions and sycophants constantly telling him how great he is.? Is it any surprise he wants four more years of this?

In less than four years, he has reduced America to the laughingstock of the world.? We are threatened by Iran with nuclear Armageddon, while he lines up a putt and tells us what his imaginary son would look like.

The thing at which Barack Obama has been most successful in redistributing is debt.? Every freshly beggared butcher, baker, and candlestick maker in this once-great country?and each one of their newly insolvent children?is now on the hook for $48,358 apiece:

[...] in the less-than-three-years Obama has been in office, the federal debt has increased by $4.212 trillion?more than the total national debt of about $4.1672 trillion accumulated by all 41 U.S. presidents from George Washington through George H.W. Bush combined.

President Obama says he wants to ?invest in our people without leaving them a mountain of debt.?

That?s a curious statement because the Congressional Budget Office?s analysis of the president?s current budget proposal projects that publicly held debt as a share of the economy would reach levels last seen at the end of the Second World War.

When the CBO?s numbers are plugged into a bar chart, the projected Obama debt levels (red bars) look like?the upward slope of a mountain (!):

Thanks to Barack Obama, we now owe more than all of those notorious European spendthrifts combined:

America?s debt is currently $15.1 trillion, while the Eurozone (which includes France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Spain, the U.K., and others) has a combined debt of $12.7 trillion. (All dollar amounts are in U.S. dollars, and the data refers to closing 2011 numbers.)

The Eurozone is larger than the United States, so America?s debt per capita also exceeds the Eurozone?s. According to the Census Bureau, the U.S. has a population of 313 million, whereas the Eurozone has a population in excess of 331 million.

Our mainstream media may persist in the fiction of Obama as ?liberal?, but at least one true revolutionist does not:

Longtime Communist Party USA member Angela Davis, the 1960s radical who twice was the party?s nominee for vice president, is calling Barack Obama a black radical, raising objections from her fellow travelers.

Davis, who also was associated with the Black Panther Party and was acquitted of murder charges in 1970, said the Obama election was a ?victory, not of an individual, but of ? people who refused to believe that it was impossible to elect a person, a black person, who identified with the black radical tradition.? I never thought I?d agree with Angela Davis about anything.? Maybe the Obama presidency really has brought people together after all.
