Intel has officially unveiled the reference design school Tablet PCs based on Intel Atom solutions and Android.
Intel Education tablet is designed for use in schools and has a number of features to support the development of creative abilities of students: two cameras, stylus, built-in speakers and a microphone. New product allows extensive use of multimedia content in the learning process.
The tablet has received a predefined set of applications, Intel Education Software, including the application for reading e-books e-Reader, the program to review the scientific disciplines and analyzing data and drawing tools. Also provides management software that allows teachers and administrators to monitor the students.
Intel Education tablet-based operating system Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich has a 10-inch screen and dual-core Intel Atom Z2460 . It provides 6.5 hours in the mobile mode, and its weight does not exceed 700 grams. Intel also offers another model of the tablet Intel Education. It has a 7-inch screen, single-core Intel Atom Z2420 , and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean . Weight of the device does not exceed 400 grams, and while working in the mobile mode is about 8 hours. Both new products are preloaded software McAfee Mobile Security. Screen device has a special shock-resistant design.
